When this applies
Use this article when you need to:
Locate the reset button on a 385GW or 385GWX Dash Cam.
Reset a 385GW or 385GWX Dash Cam.
Locate the USB-C port.
Connect the Dash Cam to another power source using the USB-C port.
This information applies to the Nextbase 385GW and 385GWX Dash Cam.
Process / information
Before you begin, remove the Dash Cam from its holder.

Opening the side panel
Locate the side panel on the right-hand side of the Dash Cam.
When the Dash Cam is fitted to the windscreen, this is the driver's side.
Place a finger on the side panel.
Slide the side panel upwards to open it.
Reset button
The reset button is located in the middle of the compartment behind the side panel.
To reset the Dash Cam:
Locate the reset button.
Use a pen or pin to press the reset button firmly.
Release the reset button.
USB-C port
The USB-C port is located inside the same compartment.
The USB-C port can be used to power the Dash Cam from another compatible power source, such as:
A PC.
A mains power source at home using a suitable adapter.
What to expect
When the side panel is opened, you should be able to access both the reset button and USB-C port.
If you are resetting the Dash Cam, pressing the reset button will reset the Dash Cam.
If you are using the USB-C port for power, the Dash Cam should receive power when connected to a suitable working cable and power source.
