When this applies
Use this article when connecting:
The supplied Car Power Cable to a 385GWX or 385GW Dash Cam.
A Rear Camera to a 385GWX or 385GW Dash Cam.
This information applies to the Nextbase 385GWX and 385GW Dash Cam.
Process / information
Connecting the power cable
Connect the supplied Car Power Cable into the Mini USB socket on the mount.
Make sure the connector is the correct way up, with the curved ridge facing down. The connector should follow the contour of the Dash Cam.
If you are using a Rear Camera, do not connect the Dash Cam to the power supply until the Rear Camera has been attached.
Connecting the Rear Camera cable
Locate the USB-C port at the rear of the Dash Cam.
Plug the USB-C end of the Rear Camera connector cable into the USB-C port.
What to expect
The power cable should sit securely in the Mini USB socket on the mount with the connector correctly orientated.
If a Rear Camera is being used, the USB-C connector should sit securely in the port at the rear of the Dash Cam.
Once the required cables have been connected, the Dash Cam can be connected to the power supply.
