What is Emergency SOS?
Emergency SOS automatically notifies emergency services if the iQ detects a severe crash and the driver is unresponsive.
It shares key information such as your GPS location, medical details, and blood‑type with emergency personnel.
How does Emergency SOS work?
How is a crash detected?
When your iQ detects a high G-force impact, Emergency SOS activates and displays the following icon:

What important details should I know?
Phone permissions – Your phone must allow the iQ app to use location, mobile data, and other services; check the Permissions article in the help centre.
Network connection – In an accident, the app sends a small data packet (about 1.5 KB) to emergency services; if there is no mobile signal or data, the SOS cannot be sent.
Coverage – Emergency services response and support for this feature can vary by country and region; not all territories are supported.
Turn on Emergency SOS in the app and keep your details up to date so the feature can help you or a family member if the worst happens.
