iQ Sounds

Your iQ Dash Cam plays audible tones to confirm when an action has been performed, so you do not need to look at the screen to know the camera is responding. These sounds are designed to keep your attention on the road while still giving you feedback.

Why does my iQ make sounds when in use?

  • The iQ gives you a short sound when you press the protect button or use a voice command.

  • This tells you the action was received, so you can stay focused on driving.

  • The sounds are not continuous; they only play when you interact with the camera.

How to turn off iQ Sounds

  1. Open the iQ app on your phone.

  2. Tap iQ Settings.

  3. Find the option labeled iQ Sounds.

  4. Toggle iQ Sounds off.

Once turned off, your iQ Dash Cam will no longer play these notification sounds, but will still record and protect footage as normal.
