How to use voice control on your Piqo Dash Cam
Your Piqo Dash Cam supports voice control so you can manage key functions without taking your hands off the wheel. When the camera is ready to listen, you can use simple voice commands to protect footage, start or stop Witness Mode, and turn audio recording on or off.
How to use voice commands
Start with the prompt: “Hey Nexy”, this will prompt the camera to listen for commands.
Immediately follow with one of the supported commands listed below.
Speak clearly and keep your voice at a normal level for the best results.
Supported voice commands
Protect
Say: “Hey Nexy, Protect”
This locks the current recording so it is not overwritten.
Witness Mode on
Say: “Hey Nexy, Witness mode”
This starts a Witness Mode session and protects the footage for a set period.
Witness Mode off
Say: “Hey Nexy, stop witness mode”
This stops the session while keeping the captured footage protected.
Privacy Mode on
Say: “Hey Nexy, privacy mode”
This stops the Dash Cam from recording audio on your videos.
Privacy Mode off
Say: “Hey Nexy, stop privacy mode”
This resumes audio recording on your videos.
Language support
If your chosen language is not supported, voice commands will default to English.
Your app language and voice announcements will stay in the language you selected in the app settings.
