Troubleshooting firmware update issues
If you are having trouble completing a firmware update via the Nextbase App, check the points below:
Ensure Wi‑Fi is enabled on your phone.
If you use a VPN, turn it off during the update.
Disconnect from other Wi‑Fi networks (for example, home Wi‑Fi) and try again.
Disable automatic Wi‑Fi reconnection so your phone does not switch back to familiar networks.
If your vehicle has Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, disconnect your phone from it while updating.
Check app permissions on your phone:
Go to Settings → Apps → Nextbase App → Permissions
Turn on all requested permissions (for example, Location, Nearby Devices, Local Network, Notifications).
