When your iQ first powers on, it’s normal for the signal bars to appear red while the camera searches for a connection. If the signal bars remain red, this may indicate that the camera is unable to establish a stable 4G signal. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to help resolve the issue:

1. Check the iQ antennas are tightly secured to your iQ unit.
2. Press on the reset button located at the top of the iQ dashcam
3. Try the dashcam in a different location.
4. Ensure the dashcam is up to date with the latest firmware.
5. If the iQ is now displaying white signal bars, this indicates your dashcam now has signal and is connecting.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, please contact Nextbase support for further assistance.
