Extra tips
Restart phone if app freezes during setup.
Ensure the dashcam is connected to power at all times before pairing to avoid connection issues.
Disable Android Auto on your phone, as it can interfere with the Wi-Fi connection.
Troubleshooting
Use the official Nextbase app (purple icon with an "N").
Turn off any VPN or antivirus apps on your phone, as they can block connections.
Ensure the Nextbase app is updated to the latest version from your app store.
Verify that your phone’s language and region settings match your location. If the model list is empty, changing the region to your actual country may resolve the issue.
Disconnect from other active wireless connections, such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, or home Wi-Fi, as the dashcam creates a direct Wi-Fi link.
Unpair the dashcam from other devices if it was previously paired.
Reinstall the Nextbase app and retry pairing.
