Driving Statistics

This article walks you through what Driving Statistics show for your Gen 2 Dash Cam, how to view them in the Nextbase App, and why they might show zero.

What are Driving Statistics?

Driving Statistics show a summary of your journeys recorded with a Gen 2 Dash Cam in the Nextbase App. They help you understand how much you drive and how long you have been protected on the road.

Your stats include:

  • Journeys

  • Speed data

  • Miles driven

  • Hours protected

How do I view my Driving Statistics?

  1. Open the Nextbase App.

  2. Tap Road Safety Club.

  3. Tap Driving Statistics.

  4. View your miles driven, hours protected, and journey information.

You will see your miles driven, hours protected, and other journey information there.

Why do my stats show zero?

Driving Statistics may show zero if:

  • You have not recorded any journeys with your Dash Cam.

  • You recently reinstalled or reset the app.

  • Your SD card has no recordings.

  • Your Dash Cam was not connected via Bluetooth during drives.

Try taking a short journey with your Dash Cam connected, then check again.

Important: You must opt in to the Road Safety Club to see Driving Statistics. Join through the Road Safety Club section first.

Troubleshooting

  • If stats stay at zero after driving, confirm Road Safety Club membership and Bluetooth connection.

  • If only some journeys appear, check your Dash Cam recorded footage on the SD card.

  • Restart the app and reconnect if statistics fail to update.
