Data and privacy
The Road Safety Club is designed to protect your privacy while still using your footage to improve roads.
Only road data is shared
Footage is anonymised: no number plates, no faces, no audio
Data is used to help local councils and mapping companies identify and fix hazards
All footage is deleted after it has been used for analysis
Can it improve my local roads?
Yes. You can view and add reports on the Road Safety Club map to highlight issues in your area. This helps focus attention on the roads you use every day and can support real improvements over time.
