The Nextbase App is the new home for your Dash Cam footage and features. It offers improved reliability, easier sharing, and support for the latest Nextbase products. Moving from MyNextbase Connect ensures you keep getting updates and the best experience.

<b>Option 1 - Upgrade and keep your footage</b>

Use this option if you want to move your existing clips from MyNextbase Connect into the Nextbase App.

When prompted, download the Nextbase App from the App Store or Google Play Store.

After installing, go back to MyNextbase Connect and tap Copy data.

- Copying may take a few minutes depending on how much footage you have saved.

Confirm that MyNextbase Connect will be disabled, then tap Open Nextbase App.

Connect your Dash Cam to the Nextbase App by following the connection guide.

Note: Make sure that you unpair your camera in your phones Bluetooth settings before connecting through the Nextbase App

1. Open MyNextbase Connect on your phone.
2. Tap Move to the Nextbase App.
3. Tap Move my data.
4. When prompted, download the Nextbase App from the App Store or Google Play Store.
5. After installing, go back to MyNextbase Connect and tap Copy data.
6. Wait while your data copies.
   - Copying may take a few minutes depending on how much footage you have saved.
7. Tap Move to complete the upgrade.
8. Confirm that MyNextbase Connect will be disabled, then tap Open Nextbase App.
9. Connect your Dash Cam to the Nextbase App by following the connection guide.
   Note: Make sure that you unpair your camera in your phones Bluetooth settings before connecting through the Nextbase App

After this upgrade, MyNextbase Connect will be disabled and you will use the Nextbase App instead.

Option 2 - Start fresh with the Nextbase App

Use this option if you do not need to keep files saved in MyNextbase Connect and prefer a clean start.

Unpair your Dash Cam from your phone’s Bluetooth settings.

Delete the MyNextbase Connect app from your phone.

Download the Nextbase App from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Open the Nextbase App and follow the connection steps to set it up as a new installation.
