Process / information
Recording footage
The Dash Cam begins recording automatically when the vehicle ignition is switched on.
Footage is saved to the SD card using loop recording.
When the SD card is full, the oldest unprotected files are overwritten.
Protected files remain protected from being overwritten.
Access footage using the Nextbase App
Connect your phone to the Dash Cam.
Open the Nextbase App.
Select the Library tab.
The Dash Cam will pause recording while displaying the files.
If prompted, select OK.
Your recordings will appear as thumbnails with timestamps.
Tap a thumbnail to play the recording.
Access footage using the SD card
Remove the Dash Cam from its mount.
Open the side cover.
Remove the microSD card.
Insert the microSD card into another device, such as a PC, to access the footage.
What to expect
You can access recordings wirelessly through the Nextbase App or by removing the microSD card and viewing the files on another device.
