Step-by-Step Sharing Guide
Connect to your Dash Cam via Cam Viewer app, then download the desired video to your phone.
Go to View Downloaded Videos, long-press the clip you want to share.
Tap the Share icon (three connected dots) in the top right.
Choose "Cam Viewer Private Share" to generate a secure sharing link.
Upload and Link Settings
Enter your email address for upload confirmation
Enable password protection for added security
Hit Start Upload—wait for completion
You will receive an e-mail with a shareable URL
Sharing the Link
Paste the link via email, text, WhatsApp, or other apps. Include the password if set.
Alternative: Use direct sharing to compatible messaging apps to send the file immediately.
Important: Links expire after 30 days—recipients must download within this period.
Extra Tips
Password-protect sensitive footage (insurance/police).
Check upload progress bar; don't close the app midway.
Cam Viewer Private Share will keep the original resolution of the footage, directly sharing through messaging apps can potentially provide a lower quality.
Troubleshooting
If your upload is stuck, ensure that the camera is powered and you are within the range of the Wi-Fi hotspot.
If the link has not been received, check the spam folder and verify email during setup.
If the receipient cannot access the footage, confirm password and resend before 30-day expiry.
