  • Make sure your Dash Cam is powered on and showing as 'Connected' on the homepage of the app.

  • Dash Cam tab: Shows footage stored on the Dash Cam.

  • To share a clip, download it from Dash Cam to Library first.

Download footage from your Dash Cam

  1. Open the Dash Cam tab.

  2. Find the clip by date and time.

  3. Tap Select (top left).

  4. Tap the video(s) you want to download.

  5. Tap Download icon (down arrow in folder, top right).

  6. Select whether you would like to save this file in your phones gallery.

  7. Wait for completion, the downloaded clip will appear in the Library tab.

Share footage using MyNextbase Cloud

  1. Open Library tab (bottom of app).

  2. Tap Select (top left) to choose video(s).

  3. Tap Share icon (3 connected circles, top right).

  4. Select MyNextbase Cloud.

  5. Enter recipient email. Set password protection if needed.

  6. Tap Start Upload.

  7. Track progress (yellow bar at bottom).

  8. Copy or share the link once complete.

Note: If you select "Share", your phone will give you the options available to you, such as email, WhatsApp, or Text Message. High-res clips can compress poorly in email/messaging, the method shown above through MyNextbase Cloud keeps full HD quality.

Troubleshooting

  • If your download is stuck, check the Dash Cam is still powered, restart app and try again

  • If you have no clips in Dash Cam tab, Confirm Bluetooth connected, recent recordings exist.

  • If the link is not working for recipient, verify email/password is correct, check spam folder.
