Dash Cam Alerts
Your Dash Cam will let you know if there’s a problem with your SD card or recording through an audible voice alert.
What types of alerts will I hear?
Your Dash Cam uses voice alerts for problems. Common alerts:
"Please insert a Nextbase class 10 SD card" – No card detected.
"Card Error, please format SD card" – Card faulty, incompatible, or needs formatting.
Which languages are supported for alerts?
Alerts use the language set in the Nextbase app. Supported languages:
English (UK), English (US), English (Australian), Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, French (Canadian), German, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Slovakian, Spanish, Swedish.
Extra tips
Use official Nextbase high-endurance SD cards to avoid errors.
Format SD card in the Dash Cam (not phone/PC) monthly.
Eject/reinsert SD card firmly if alert repeats.
