Reset the Dash Cam to default settings
Turn the Dash Cam on
Tap the red recording icon in the bottom left corner to stop the Dash Cam from recording.
Press the "Settings" icon in the top left corner of the screen.
Select "Setup".
Swipe across to find "Keep User Settings".
Turn Keep User Settings "OFF".
Go back to the "Setup" menu and select "Default Settings".
Select "YES" and press "OK",
The camera should now restart.
Uninstall MyNextbase Connect on your phone
Uninstall the "MyNextbase Connect" app
Go to the "Bluetooth" settings on your phone, then remove any connections you can see to Nextbase.
Go into the "Wi-Fi Settings" on your phone, then delete any connections you can see to Nextbase.
Restart your phone (turn it off and back on).
Reinstall the "MyNextbase Connect" app on your phone.
Go through the first time setup steps again.
Extra tips
Write down custom settings before reset so you can recreate them.
Test connection immediately after reinstall before customising settings.
Keep phone Bluetooth/Wi-Fi on during entire process.
Troubleshooting
If no device appears on the app when trying to reconnect, check for any previously connected devices in Bluetooth/Wi-Fi settings and remove them.
App crashes after reinstall: Clear phone storage/cache, restart, reinstall again.
If you are still unable to connect, try a different phone if available; confirm Dash Cam firmware is up-to-date and update manually if necessary.
If the issue persists, submit support ticket with Dash Cam model, phone model/OS, app version, and reset confirmation.
