    Hi Brian, I'm sorry to hear about the problem you're having. I'm not aware of Wi-Fi or CarPlay causing any issues with the Wi-Fi connection. Would you mind submitting a ticket with our support team to look into this? 

    We've done extremely thorough testing in a range of different vehicles, including Toyota and haven't uncovered any problems like this. As long as your phone is capable of switching between different connections you shouldn't have any problems.
