    Hello Mel

The problem you've described is likely to power related, how is your Dash Cam powered inside your vehicle? We only recommend using a 12V cable (supplied in the box) or an official Nextbase Hardwire Kit.

Also, can you please confirm the model number of your camera and if parking mode is enabled?

Feel free to submit a support ticket if you'd like our support agents to help you troubleshoot the problem.

Mine does this - I have the 622GW and Parking Mode is OFF but the camera doesnt seem to hold its charge. When I start the car in the morning the camera recycles itself 3 or 4 times before finally staying on, even then, at random times it power recycles.

Ive done the diagnostics and the camera battery just doesnt seem to hold much charge for very long.

Hello Mark, thanks for leaving a comment on this thread. I'm sorry to hear about your Dash Cam.

You've mentioned that it's not holding charge, have you performed a battery test on the camera? If not, follow the steps listed in this article.

If your camera is no longer holding charge, we can assist you in making a warranty claim on the camera.
