What is MyNextbase Cloud?
My Nextbase Cloud is a free service that we offer our customers, so you can share high quality Dash Cam footage without it getting heavily compressed, resulting in poor image quality. This means that whoever you are sending the footage to, will be able to view it in crisp, HD quality.
How do I use MyNextbase Cloud?
Follow these steps to send a file:
- Download your footage into MyNextbase Connect (mobile) or MyNextbase Player (desktop)
- Hit the share icon (the button looks like 3 circles connected by a single line)
- Select the option that says 'MyNextbase Cloud'
- Enter your email address
- Choose if you would like to submit the footage to Nextbase
- Choose if you would like to password protect the video you are going to share
- Select 'Start Upload'
- Wait for your upload to complete (this might take a while if you have slow internet)
- You will receive an email with the download link.
- Copy the URL link that is provided to you, to share with your recipient.
- Paste the link via email, text or your preferred communication method to your recipient and remember to include the password too (if you have used one)
Warning: The file will stay online, available for download, for 30 days and will be permanently deleted after this time. Please make sure your recipient downloads a copy of the file within this time frame.
