The iQ is a smart device with a lot of data transfers happening. A reboot is the process of refreshing its operating system, clear temporary data and resolve different software niggles.
How to reboot your iQ
On the top of the iQ facing into the cabin there is a small button. A short press with a pen or a pin will reboot the device.
If you need to remove the unit from the plate attached to the windscreen. Its relatively easy to do, just pull the unit from the top section toward you and it will come away from the plate. It is easy to slide back onto the plate afterward.
