622GW Nothing but problems!
Purchased a 622GW October 2023, direct from Nextbase website. Direct to wiring to fuse box on a 2022 Mini JCW. It was working fine for about 7 months, then it started to go wrong. Half way into journey the screen went blank, with very faint glow and the red light showing. Tried the on/off button, no effect, then dismounted the camera, and tried the reset, but it went totally dead. I am a retired electrician, so a few times I checked the fuse and feed with a multi tester, no problem with circuit. I previously had a Blackvue Dash Cam, just over 10 years old, on the same car and same circuit and that worked fine for 10 months, as it did with my older Mini, and Nissan Qashqai since 2013. I requested a RMA, and they sent me PDF label attached to an email. This was NOT pre-paid, so I had to pay £4.59 at the PO. I contacted customer services chat line and insisted they sent me a pre-paid label. BUT IT WAS NOT, and it said this on the PDF with the label. So confusion with customer services. The whole episode with the 622GW going wrong and arguments with customer services, the whole situation with Nextbase has been a complete nightmare!

I have a 622GW and my car got hit in a parking lot today at approximately 8:35am. I connected to my dashcam for the footage and found that it had not been recording even though it was on and running. I then found that I had no recording of the entire morning, or the entire last 2 months! The last time it shows a recording is on 29 May, and today is 26 July!!! After the incident in the parking lot I drove 30 mins into work and then back home. It recorded a tiny portion of my drive home (one 20 second snippet), but none of my drive into work or the majority of my drive home. What a piece of crap. I'm using the "best in the world" Nextbase 128GB MicroSD card too. No excuse for this kind of failure. I have 2 Nextbase cameras (322 and 622) and now I do not trust either of them.
For reference, the 128GB card only has a total of 13 "normal" recordings on it. It has 1226 "protected recordings, which is ridiculous because any little bump in the road makes a protected recording... but there are none from the last week, only one on 18 July and then none until 6 June. Completely unrealiable. I am sooooo disappointed and know I wasted a lot of $$ on these cameras.
