Rear Camera Fitting

I have it impossible to fit a rear dash cam to my RR Velar as its not possible to get inside the rear tail gate. The only method I have seen entails drilling holes in the fibreglass tail gate. I have therefore had to have the wiring hanging down from the door aperture to the camera on the tail gate window, which is OKish but the dog can get in tangled in the wire which hangs down when the tail gate is shut. I have therefore now cut the cable the cable and cut in a coiled cable with stays neatly coiled when the tan gate is closed and extends when it is open. see pictures. It seems to work OK. this may be helpful to other with the same problem.It would be good if Nextbase offered something similar.
