  Thank you for posting to our forum, how is your Dash Cam powered inside the vehicle? 
  
  What you've described is highly unusual and not something I've ever heard before, but my guess is that the camera has been wired incorrectly.

  Hello Ryan
  My camera is powered via the ignition when I turn my key to the first stage (battery light handbrake light oil light on stage) it now works when the fan is off I take it this means it is on the wrong fuse do you advise to wire this camera to a permanent live
