Please note:
- This article walks through how to download and install MyNextbase Player on a Mac. If you have a Windows computer, these steps won't work for you.
- If MyNextbase Player isn't shown on the support page for your Dash Cam model (shown in step 3), your camera might not be compatible with this software. Please consult the user manual.
- Select "Assistance", then "Support" on the header menu at the top of the web-page.
- Select your Dash Cam model.
- Scroll down the page until you see "MyNextbase Player" (see below).
- Click the arrow to start the software download.
- Wait for the download to complete. This may take a few minutes (depending on your internet connection speed).
- Once the download has complete, open Finder and go into your "Downloads" folder.
- Double click on the file called "MyNextbase-Player" (the filename should end in ".dmg").
- A popup should appear, use your mouse to drag and drop MyNextbase Player into your Applications folder (see below).
- Now "MyNextbase Player" should appear in your Applications folder. Double click to open it.
- The first time you open MyNextbase Player, you may get a popup which asks if you would like to open it. Select "Open".
- After selecting "Open", wait for MyNextbase Player to load.
- MyNextbase Player should open automatically.
