You can report a range of road defects through the Nextbase Road Safety Club, such as potholes, cracks, and damaged road furniture. Here’s how:
-
Open the MyNextbase Connect App
Go to the Road Safety Club section in the app. -
Connect to Your Dash Cam
Download the footage from your Nextbase Dash Cam that captures the road issue. -
Upload Your Footage
Upload the video directly to the Nextbase server. We anonymize the data by removing audio and personal information, using only front-facing footage, GPS data, and timestamps. This helps local authorities improve road safety faster.
Types of Road Defects You Can Report
You can report any issue that affects road safety, including damaged signage or unsafe road conditions.
Can I Track the Status of My Reports?
Unfortunately, it’s currently not possible to track the status of your report in the MyNextbase Connect app. However, this feature is being considered for future updates.
How is My Data Used?
Your footage is anonymized and shared with Nextbase partners, such as highways agencies and local councils, to help improve road conditions. We ensure that all personal data is removed before sharing.
Important Notes
