Issues with Firmware Updates?
If you are experiencing challenges with completing a firmware update on your Piqo Dash Cam via the Nextbase app please check the following points:
- Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on your phone.
- If you have a VPN enabled, turn it off.
- Disconnect your phone from any other Wi-Fi networks (e.g., home Wi-Fi) and try connecting again.
- Disable automatic Wi-Fi reconnection, as some phones may attempt to reconnect to familiar networks, causing interference.
- If your vehicle has Android Auto or Apple Car Play ensure that your phone is not connected to that when trying to create a Wi-Fi connection.
- You have accepted all app permissions in your phone settings, you an access this via Settings – Apps – Nextbase app – Permissions and turning them all on.
